As soon as your total amount of Chips reaches 1'000'000'000, they are converted to Purple Chips. 

Thus, 1 Purple Chip is equal to 1'000'000'000 Chips. 

You will receive the following notification:

Note that you'll keep receiving chips for victories after that, though the total amount of purple chips will be displayed as a rounded number of 1 billion chips and three digits after the dot (see example).
